I'll overwhelm 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
