'People are fearful' - the reasons 'juggernaut' Arsenal are the squad everyone fears.

There's little doubt why Arsenal stand as numerous fans' favorites to win the Premier League during this term.

Examine their outcomes against West Ham and Crystal Palace in contrast with those same matches in the previous campaign.

The Gunners have beaten all of them this time around, but lost 10 points across those games as they faded in the title race previously.

Defensive Strength

Arsenal's backline resilience is a crucial element why they are seeming ready to at last realize their title target.

They stand first for unbreached games (6), shots let in (3), attempts against (72), quality opportunities against (19) and anticipated concessions (5.3).

The center-back duo of Gabriel and William Saliba is possibly the finest in the league, with Arsenal recording a clean sheet in six of their first nine games.

Set-Piece Mastery

Their threat from set-pieces is widely recognized, but opposition teams still find it difficult to neutralize the Gunners from these situations.

They have scored 11 times from set-pieces in the league, a couple extra than any other side, with 69% of their goals coming from these situations.

"Arsenal can excel in various aspects now. The whole team has a fear factor. People are just wary of them and it is wonderful to see."

Championship Claims

What is especially notable about Arsenal's start to the campaign is they have also encountered Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United at opposition grounds and Manchester City at home - and are still four points clear at the top.

While they keep winning, their historic competitors aren't faring so well. This marks the first time at this stage of the season since 1992 that none of Manchester City and United, Liverpool or Chelsea are in the Premier League top four.

The scrutiny was on manager Mikel Arteta at the start, having allocated around £250m on eight summer acquisitions in search of that coveted first title since 2004.

But the spending has so far yielded results in impressive fashion, with his side second top scorers in the league and having the most resilient defense, despite numerous injuries.

  • Unbreached games in three straight Premier League games
  • Nearly 6.5 hours without letting in a goal
  • Only a handful of concessions in 12 games across all competitions

Former players and experts have described Arteta's men as a "powerhouse, looking difficult to stop" with the whole club now performing with confidence and purpose.
